If you crave for Cantonese-style cuisine, Keung Kee Restaurant is a good place to go. As their Chinese name implies, Keung Kee’s specialty is congee, especially chicken congee. Besides popular dishes like fried rice and chow mein, stir-fired sticky rice with preserved meat ($7.45), fired rice noodle with sliced beef & soya sauce ($7.95), diced meat, baby oyster with rice in soup ($9.45) and ginger, scallon, sparerib, rice noodle roll in hot pot ($8.45) are some of the dishes to try. If you like spicy food, why not try the fried turnip patties in X.O. sauce ($6.95) or spicy fried beef ($10.95)? Keung Kee also offers a wide variety of dishes for vegetarians. However, the vegetarian menu is only in Chinese, so you may have to ask the server. Last but not least, if you like sweets, deep-fried crispy milk block ($6.45) is a must try! At dinner time, they will even give out complimentary soup and/or dessert soup.
